Two Pilernes ask for two kinds of curtain. Up on the plateau, flats and staff rooms near the industrial estate get traffic dust and wind through any open window, so a heavier, closely woven curtain with a lining is the better buy: it deadens some road noise, can be vacuumed where it hangs, and does not flap about. Pilerne lies between Porvorim and Candolim. It is known for its industrial estate on the plateau, and for the village below with its church, lake and old houses. Apartment complexes have been built for people working in the estate and in Porvorim.
