A PVC strip curtain is a row of clear, flexible plastic strips hung from a rail across a doorway, each strip overlapping the next. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through; the strips fall back and close the opening behind them. The door stays open for traffic but closed to air.
They are used wherever a doorway separates two temperatures or two levels of cleanliness: a cold room and a corridor, an air-conditioned shop and the street, a kitchen and a wash area.
