Sofa Repair and Reupholstery in Goa
New fabric, new foam, springs and frame repair for sofas, armchairs and dining chairs. We collect the sofa, repair it in our Margao workshop and bring it back.

Sofa Reupholstery Price by Sofa Size and Fabric
Fabric and labour together, with your existing foam kept. A 3-seater in everyday fabric works out to roughly ₹5,200 to ₹8,000 per seat.

Two photos of the sofa, front and side, on WhatsApp. We reply with an estimate and fabric suggestions.

Choose the fabric
We bring swatch books to your home in Goa, check the frame and confirm the price.

Pickup
The sofa is collected and taken to our Margao workshop. Day 1.

Strip and repair
Old fabric off, joints tightened, springs and webbing replaced where needed. Days 2 and 3.

Foam and fabric
New foam cut, new covers stitched and fitted. Days 4 and 5.
- 6
Check and deliver
Inspected, then delivered back and set in place. Days 6 and 7.
Is Your Sofa Worth Repairing?
Knock on the frame under the arm. A dull, solid sound means hardwood, and a hardwood frame is worth restoring more than once. A hollow rattle means plywood or particle board.
- Repair it when the frame is teak, rosewood or seasoned hardwood, even if the fabric and foam are finished.
- Refill only the foam when the fabric is good and the seats have sunk.
- Replace it when the frame is board, or the joints are cracked through.

Sofa Repair Questions
How much does sofa repair cost in Goa?
It depends on what the sofa needs. New seat foam alone is approximately ₹1,200 to ₹2,200 per seat. Full reupholstery of a 3-seater, fabric and labour, is approximately ₹15,700 to ₹24,000 in everyday fabric. Prices vary with the fabric and market rates.
Do you repair sofas at home?
Most repairs are done in our Margao workshop, because stripping and re-padding a sofa needs space and tools. We collect the sofa and bring it back. Send photos on WhatsApp and we will tell you what it needs.
How long does sofa repair take?
Usually 5 to 7 working days from pickup to delivery for a full reupholstery. A foam-only refill is quicker.
Is it better to repair an old sofa or buy a new one?
If the frame is solid hardwood, repair it. A re-covered hardwood sofa with new foam will outlast a new budget sofa built on pine or particle board. If the frame is board, or the joints are cracked, put the money towards a new sofa.
Can I keep my old foam and change only the fabric?
Yes, if the cushions still spring back when you press them. Changing only the fabric saves the cost of foam.
