Custom Sofas in Parra: Bespoke Designs & Local Expertise

Villas in Parra are built with living rooms that open through sliding doors to a garden, and the sofa plan should start from those doors. A sectional or two sofas facing each other fills a large room properly; draw it on the floor plan before anything is made. Sun pours in off the fields, so the seat nearest the glass wants a fabric that will not fade, and if people walk in from a pool, a performance fabric. The air is drier than on the coast, which opens up cotton and linen blends. Where an old family home still has its carved wooden sofa, restoring it comes before replacing it.

• Villa living rooms: a made-to-size sectional set back from the sliding doors, in a fade-resistant weave.
• Traditional homes near the church: carved wooden frames given new webbing and foam, then covered in a cotton blend.
• Covered verandas facing the fields: a sofa in outdoor-grade fabric that shrugs off sun and a blown shower.
