Custom Window Blinds for Mobor Homes

Mobor is the most exposed point on this stretch of coast, and a blind here is judged by its metal and by how it behaves in wind. Indoors, that means an aluminium head rail, brackets and chains in stainless or plastic, and a PVC-coated or polyester fabric that wipes free of salt; wooden slats and untreated bamboo will not last between the sea and the river. Chain-operated rollers stand up to guests better than slatted blinds. Outdoors the rule is stricter. On a terrace or sit-out at the river mouth, only a blind that runs in side channels or on cables should be fitted, and even that is rolled up when a storm comes in.

• Resort bedrooms: chain-operated blackout rollers on metal brackets, quick to replace singly if a guest damages one between bookings.
• Terraces facing the river mouth: guided outdoor blinds in side channels or on cables, raised fully before any storm arrives.
• Sit-outs on the sea side: clear PVC monsoon blinds with channel guides, to keep spray off furniture during the rains.
