Udai Kedar visited our Hitech Home Decor showroom in Margao exploring our extensive collection of window blinds for his modern kitchen renovation. He required a clean, minimalist window covering that would integrate seamlessly above the granite counter ledge while maintaining high aesthetic elegance without cluttering the cooking workspace.
Goan kitchens experience severe environmental stress — heavy steam from cooking, high humidity, oil vapor, and harsh tropical afternoon sunlight. Conventional fabric roman blinds or wooden slats trap oil splatters, absorb cooking aromas, and develop mildew stains in coastal humidity.
We recommended and fabricated custom 100% waterproof heavy-duty PVC roller blinds in an understated cream micro-textured motif. The non-porous polymer surface is 100% grease-proof, steam-resistant, and can be effortlessly wiped down with a damp cloth. Master technician Nitesh precision-mounted the compact top roller mechanism within the upper recess cavity, preserving full counter clearance.
A sleek, modern, low-maintenance kitchen installation that blocks harsh glare, protects kitchen cabinetry from UV bleaching, and repels kitchen steam. The client shared a 5-star Google review praising the extensive selection and modern aesthetic.

Goa's coastal humidity combined with intense cooking steam and oil splatters can cause regular fabric blinds to stain or develop mildew. Heavy-duty PVC roller blinds are 100% waterproof, non-absorbent, and easily wiped clean with soap and water.
Yes! Unlike porous fabrics that permanently trap grease, our wipe-clean PVC blinds feature a smooth sealed surface that can be wiped spotless with a damp microfiber cloth and kitchen spray in seconds.
Yes, our master technicians use compact top-mount cassette brackets that fit flush inside the upper window frame, leaving full countertop space completely unobstructed.
