We do not publish a fixed rate for this, because the price depends on the design chosen, the area and the condition of the surface. We measure free of charge in Goa and quote before any work starts.
- The type and thickness of the flooring.
- The area, plus an allowance for cuts and waste.
- Floor preparation: uneven tiles may need a levelling compound first.
- Skirting, door thresholds and edge trims.
- If you have bought the flooring elsewhere, laying alone is approximately ₹25 to ₹40 per sq ft. This varies with the floor and market rates.
Before a New Floor Goes Down
- The existing floor must be dry, firm and level. Hollow or loose tiles are fixed first.
- Doors may need trimming at the bottom, because the new floor raises the level by a few millimetres.
- Click floors need a small gap at every wall, hidden by the skirting, so the floor can move with heat.
