ViewWhere Wall Panels Are Used
- Behind the TV: fluted WPC or charcoal louvers, often with a plain panel in the middle for the screen.
- Behind the bed: a full-width panelled wall in place of a headboard.
- Damp or stained walls: PVC panels fixed on a frame, so the surface stays clean. The panel hides the damp; the leak itself still has to be repaired.
- Bathrooms and kitchens: PVC panels where tiles are not wanted.
- Shops, clinics, offices and halls: reception walls and long walls that need to look finished and wipe clean.
How Wall Panels Are Fitted
On a flat, dry wall, panels can be bonded directly with adhesive. On an uneven or damp wall, a frame of battens is fixed first and the panels are clipped or screwed to it, which also leaves an air gap behind the panel. Edges and corners are closed with matching trims. Most single walls are finished in a day.
