Priena Dcosta consulted Hitech Home Decor in Margao looking to create a striking focal point for her living room entertainment wall. She wanted a sophisticated, dramatic wallpaper with rich color depth that would make the wall-mounted TV pop while complementing her dark wood media console.
Applying dark-toned, patterned wallpapers in coastal Goa requires extreme technical precision. Slight moisture seepage behind the plaster can cause dark papers to show efflorescence marks, and intricate fan motifs require millimeter-perfect vertical pattern matching so that seam lines remain completely invisible when viewed from sitting distance.
Our senior installation crew prepped the surface with a moisture-barrier primer, followed by specialized fungicide paste. Using precision laser level guides, our master technicians aligned the continuous gold botanical leaf pattern with zero seam visibility around the central TV cable outlets and electrical switch plates.
A breathtaking, hotel-luxe living room transformation with rich jewel-tone teal and metallic gold highlights. The client praised the exceptional finishing, craftsmanship, and overall service quality in a verified 5-star Google review.
Material grades, mechanical components, and environmental ratings.
“The finishing is very good ... overall very happy with the service, quality and work.”

Before applying wallpaper, our technicians treat the wall with a damp-resistant bonding primer and utilize heavy-duty anti-fungal adhesives formulated specifically for Goa's high coastal humidity. This creates an airtight seal that prevents bubbling, mold growth, or edge peeling.
A standard single accent wall (up to 120 sq ft) takes approximately 3 to 4 hours to complete, including laser alignment for pattern repeat matching, edge trimming around switchboards/TV mounts, and zero-mess cleanup.
Yes, the textured vinyl surface is washable and scrub-resistant. Light dust or marks can be easily wiped clean with a damp microfiber cloth without discoloring the metallic gold or deep teal pigments.
