A boutique eco-resort on Morjim beach was replacing worn poolside lounger cushions every single season due to color fading under scorching sun, sunscreen oil stains, and soggy mildew after summer rains.
Morjim's beachfront climate has intense UV exposure, sea-salt mist, and sudden torrential downpours. Conventional polyester outdoor fabrics fade within 3 months and conventional foam traps water like a sponge, developing foul odors.
We engineered 24 custom pool lounger and cabana daybed cushion sets using authentic 100% Sunbrella solution-dyed acrylic fabric in charcoal and sand. Internally, we used open-cell reticulated quick-dry foam wrapped in Dacron batting and breathable mesh base gussets, allowing water to drain straight through within 20 minutes of a downpour.
The resort's pool deck gained a fresh, luxury look that remains 100% colorfast under direct beach sunlight. Staff clean spilled cocktails and sunscreen oils with simple mild soap and water without any staining.
